Appearance
The Plini de Laurona has a medium-high cherry-coloured robe with a violet rim.
Bouquet
Aromas of wild berries, such as redcurrants and blackberries, underpinned by some spicy and balsamic notions, a layer of Mediterranean garrigue, and hints of cocoa, violets and aromatic herbs. Let it breathe, because this blend of Grenache, Carignan and Syrah really sings after some time in the decanter.
Mouth
Superbly crafted, this wine of Celler Laurona has a supple, smooth body and a confident elegance. Succulent fruit, bold tannins and an excellent acidity, that promise a long life. Complex finish, with predominantly mineral and balsamic nuances.
Vinification
Controlled fermentation in 50 hectoliters Barrels. Long maceration with frequent cap plunging and pumping to achieve the optimal extraction.
Ageing
First ageing for 18 months in 330 litre French oak barrels, followed by a second aging process in the bottle for no less than 4 years in our winery.
